Admission Criteria 2024
One must pass JEE Main in order to get admission to India’s premier NIT colleges.
Students are admitted to NIT based on their performance in the entrance exam.
A JoSAA counseling session is also required.
The student’s preferences and the availability of seats determine admission following counseling.
As of 2017, NITs provide 8,050 postgraduate seats and 19,000 undergraduate seats.

Eligibility Criteria
